Overview
Azure Cloud AI Toolkit is built to be stateless by design. We do not maintain a backend database of your tool inputs, chat conversations, or generated runbooks. This page explains exactly what limited data is processed, by whom, and why.
What We Collect
- Chat & Tool Inputs: When you use one of our AI tools, your messages are sent to Google Gemini for real-time processing and streamed back to you. This happens in-memory per request — we do not log or store the content of your conversations.
- Email Subscriptions: If you subscribe for updates, we collect your email address (and name, if provided) and pass it to MailerLite, our email service provider, to add you to our mailing list. We use this only to send product updates you opted into.
- Contact & Tool Request Forms: Submitting the contact or request-a-tool form sends your name, email, and message to us via email for review. This content is not stored in a database.
- Abuse Prevention: Your IP address is temporarily held in memory to rate-limit form submissions and prevent abuse. It is not persisted to disk or logged long-term.
- Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. It does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small set of third parties to run this platform: Google (Gemini AI processing), MailerLite (email delivery), and Vercel (hosting and analytics). Affiliate partners linked from our tools (NordLayer, Sucuri, Pluralsight, Udemy) may set their own cookies or tracking once you click through to their sites — see our Disclosure & Disclaimer page for details.
Data Retention
We do not keep a backend database of your tool inputs, chat history, or generated output. As a precaution, avoid entering real or sensitive infrastructure details — use placeholder values where possible.
Your Choices
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link included in every message we send. If you have questions about your data, reach out through our Contact page.
Children's Privacy
This site is intended for IT professionals and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected with a new "last updated" date at the top of this page.
